Hewins Financial | Wipfli Hewins Launches OneBite, a Digital Magazine for Investors

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Hewins Financial | Wipfli Hewins (Hewins) launched a new design and reimagined user experience for its digital magazine OneBite, with the goal of delivering more in-depth, intelligent coverage and analysis of today's top financial and economic issues to readers.

OneBite, which was named a "Top 50 Financial Advisor Blog" by industry thought leader Michael Kitces in 2014, is a collaborative venture between Hewins and its CPA partners. Every week, the firms' nationally recognized subject matter experts and editorial partners will cut through the complexity of the financial world to provide readers with educational commentary on topics like retirement, the markets and investments, estate planning, college savings, taxes, life transitions and small business. Content will be optimized for all reader preferences and available through short- and long-form articles, videos, podcasts and infographics.

What sets OneBite a part from other financial publications is its masthead: the magazine's contributors are primarily credentialed financial advisors, accountants, attorneys, risk managers and estate planners who specialize in providing independent financial advice to individuals, families and businesses. With the new format, Hewins and its partners seek to expand the breadth of expertise OneBite offers readers, introducing a wider array of content categories to deepen their understanding of important financial concepts and help them make informed decisions for the future.

"OneBite is a destination for everyday investors to get answers to the questions that keep them up at night," says Gretchen Halpin, chief strategy officer at Hewins. "With its new functionality and expanded features, we're hoping the magazine will empower readers with more relevant, valuable information on the topics that matter most to their financial goals."

Subscription to OneBite is free to all readers at launch.
